Forensic Scientists: Biology and Chemistry
We are seeking experienced and highly skilled professionals with
a broad range of forensic reporting experience to join our growing
casework team.
If you are new to reporting or have a depth of experience within
your specialism we would like to talk with you.
Within the Biology area you will, be required to report on a variety
of biology case types, have experience in reporting on a range of
body fluid cases and have DNA reporting experience (complex mixture
interpretation skills and BPA experience would be an advantage).
For chemistry reporting you will need experience in reporting a
broad range of chemistry evidence types including glass fragment
analysis, paint fragments, footwear marks, tool marks, fibres and
other particulates.
You will be an expert in your field and have credibility for the
quality of your work more experienced reporters will have the skills
and desire to train and mentor others in a broad range of casework
skills, you may also have experience in scene attendance.
Your written/verbal communication and presentation skills will
be exemplary in order to attend court as an expert witness and to
liaise with Police Officers and other authorities to establish forensic
strategies and to prepare reports for the Police, CPS and Coroner.
