Forensic Casework Examiner : Biology and Chemistry

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled Forensic Examiners with a biology or chemistry background to develop their career with Cellmark in our state of the art facilities in Chorley or Abingdon.

You will be used to being meticulous in your work and have experience in assisting Reporting Scientists to devise examination strategies on a broad range of case types. You will carry out examination of crime scene items to identify such evidence types as body fluids, fibres, hairs and trace evidence such as glass, paint and other particulates.

The ideal candidates will already have significant examination experience with a biology or chemistry specialism. The quality of your work will be to a very high standard and you will be required to prepare meticulous detailed case notes for use in court.

You will require the ability to work in a highly detailed environment where customer care is of high importance, this coupled with strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication and presentations skills are an essential focus of the role.
