In 2015 Cellmark was the first Forensic Science Provider to be accredited for the full S5A drugs panel and today we now provide an ISO17025 accredited casework toxicology service as well as the full prescription and DFSA drugs panels, and hair drug and alcohol service.
Cellmark utilises a broad range of casework disciplines and specialist DNA services to assist in wildlife and rural crime investigations, or those involving domestic species.

Massively Parallel Sequencing (MPS)
Cellmark is the first forensic laboratory in the UK to receive ISO 17025 accreditation from UKAS for sequencing-based forensic DNA profiling (MPS). This revolutionary next generation DNA analysis is an exciting leap forward in forensic DNA technology.
SARC Support Service
Cellmark's forensic scientists have developed a tailored support service to help ensure the best results can be obtained from forensic samples taken at SARCs and to help SARCs meet the Forensic Science Regulator's Code of Practice for Forensic Medical Examination.
DNA Protected
With Dog theft on the rise, DNA protected has been developed to deter thieves, provide dog owners with peace of mind and to help collar the criminals. The Forensic Dog DNA database could play an important role in ensuring that dogs are safely returned to their owners if stolen.

A pioneer in the development of forensic analytical services with an international reputation for excellence, Cellmark has held international ISO quality certification since 1990 and has been accredited to submit DNA profiles to the UK’s National DNA Database® since 1998.
In 2000 Cellmark became the first DNA laboratory to achieve accreditation from UKAS to ISO 17025 and since then has continued to extend the scope of this accreditation as new services have been introduced and developed.
